Hi, I'm Alex. My pronouns are they and them. I don't just speak; I connect with audiences. With over 25 years of experience as a dynamic performer on stage as a dance fitness instructor, drag king, and storyteller, and peer coach, being vulnerable and discovering my own brand of authenticity is something I value deeply. From 2019-2024, I navigated the Colorado family court system, advocating for autonomy and well-being for myself and my children, recentering our authentic voices that dominant culture taught me to suppress.

When life has felt more dangerous than fiction, when it felt like there was no more oxygen in the room, one day I thought to myself: "You were born with a microphone in your hand. The only way out was all the way through.”

In my talks, I share my lived experience in unlearning and learning, wellness, social justice, journey through consciousness and metaphysics, mental health, long-term recovery, the humor of living an authentic life, performing, being transgender and nonbinary, parenting and walking in multiple truths. I bring levity and kindness, direct, honest, and compassionate. My talks create a space where transformation is welcome; minds, hearts, spirits and shadows can dance without side punching or elbows thrown. Audience members are encouraged to ask questions as public speaking is an experience, a collective conversation as well. Gathering people together in a room is powerful because it gifts us the opportunity to dismantle our walls when what we've been through isn't the same.

We gather so that everyone in the room can feel the invitation to feel less alone. We tell our stories, we listen, and we commit to transitions in infinite ways.
